Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operational Support Manager to oversee and enhance the day-to-day operational support functions of our organisation.

This plays a critical role in supporting the effective delivery of property maintenance, repairs, compliance, and services across Cardo Group’s contracts. Working closely with Operational Managers and senior leadership, the postholder will ensure that operational support functions are delivered efficiently, enabling frontline teams to provide an outstanding service to clients and residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the operational support team, ensuring efficient administrative and business support across multiple contracts.
  • Support the delivery of responsive repairs, planned maintenance, compliance, and retrofit programmes.
  • Monitor operational performance against contractual KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Produce and analyse operational reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate workforce planning, scheduling support, and resource allocation alongside operational managers.
  • Ensure operational systems and records are maintained accurately, including compliance documentation and contract data.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Support mobilisation of new contracts and business improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with commercial, finance, customer service, and compliance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellent customer service

You Will Need:

  • Experience in an operational management or support role ideally within social housing, property maintenance, facilities management, or construction.
  • Strong understanding of responsive repairs, planned works, compliance, and contract performance.
  • Experience using housing or repairs management systems
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience reporting on KPIs and operational performance.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality services to residents and clients.
