- Commercial Management: Negotiate favourable pricing agreements, payment terms, and contractual arrangements while identifying opportunities for cost savings and value improvements.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor material costs, review variations, challenge discrepancies, and manage supplier contra-charges to protect project margins and commercial performance.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all products, materials, and subcontractors meet PAS 2035 standards, statutory requirements, and client-specific funding criteria.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, supplier performance, and emerging retrofit technologies to support informed procurement decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with surveyors, mobilisation teams, project managers, and commercial colleagues to develop accurate budgets, procurement schedules, and project delivery plans.
- Supplier Performance Management: Track supplier KPIs, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvement plans to drive quality, service, and value throughout the supply chain.
You Will Need:

- Experience working collaboratively with operational, commercial, and technical stakeholders within a project-based environment.
- Established supplier network across Wales and the South West would be a distinct advantage.
