We are currently looking to recruit a Contract Supervisor to join our non domestic team covering the Merthyr and Caerphilly areas.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Supervisor to oversee the successful delivery of non-domestic and commercial contracts. You will be responsible for supervising operatives and subcontractors, coordinating works, maintaining client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with commercial clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Attend site, client and contract meetings.
- Survey works and identify labour, materials and trade requirements.
- Coordinate daily activities with planners, operatives and subcontractors.
- Monitor quality, productivity, programme and contractual KPIs.
- Ensure works comply with health & safety, RAMS and company procedures.
- Complete inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor costs, variations and contract profitability.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and project documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for operatives and subcontractors.
You Will Need
- Experience in contract supervision, construction, building maintenance or facilities management.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety and site compliance.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of contract delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Good IT skills.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Relevant industry qualifications such as SSSTS/SMSTS or CSCS are desirable.
