Role Overview:
We are looking for a Bid Coordinator to support our growing Work Winning team and play a key role in helping us secure new opportunities across the UK.
This is an extremely varied role in a fast-paced environment, suited to someone who is naturally organised, enjoys working with people, and isn’t afraid to use their initiative to keep things moving and over-come challenges.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, building relationships, coordinating multiple bid activities and helping to produce high-quality submissions. Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the Work Winning team, ensuring the efficient management of bidding activities.
- Support the preparation and submission of PINs, EOIs and tenders, helping to deliver high-quality, compliant proposals on time.
- Manage bid schedules, tender deadlines, portal communications and clarification responses, ensuring key information is communicated promptly to stakeholders.
- Coordinate tender submission logistics, including document formatting, quality checks and up-loads to procurement portals.
- Manage the bids inbox and monitor tender portals, distributing opportunities, updates and cor-respondence to the wider team.
- Maintain and update workflow tracker and reporting tools to ensure accurate bid records and pipeline visibility.
- Assist with supply chain engagement, including issuing tender enquiries and coordinating responses from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide administrative support for commercial submissions, pricing schedules, clarifications and tender-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate bid and estimating records in line with company procedures, quality standards and document management requirements.
- Support collaboration between the Work Winning team, operational colleagues and supply chain partners to ensure a seamless flow of information throughout the bid process.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of bid processes, systems and reporting, helping Cardo continually enhance its approach to winning work.
You Will Need:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills – be able to communicate clearly with a wide variety of interior stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite with excellent Word document formatting skills
- Highly competent in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, Pivot Tables, lookups, data validation and reporting functions
- Adobe Acrobat/InDesign
- MS Visio
- Understanding/experience of the construction industry
- Experience in a similar role or within the industry
