The Opportunity

Join our talented product developers who are product and detail obsessed with exceptional skills focused on designing the most premium products to empower women worldwide. Reporting to the Senior Production & Development Manager, you will be working closely with our Senior Designer, turning our beautiful products from CAD to final sample, alongside our garment technicians.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will

  • Working across different categories, including a variety of beautiful fabrics, you will work with design & production to ensure the product reflects initial design and brand aesthetic.
  • Responsible for translating CAD to a sample, to ensure quality and design features are kept.
  • Manage and track styles from CAD design to production handover, problem solving through the sample development stage.
  • Send tech packs, specs and fabrics for development purposes.
  • Source new fabrics and trims, following global trends and brand aesthetic to continue to elevate Babyboo.
  • Attend fit sessions throughout the development process. Check all development samples and ensure quality, design and workmanship following brand standards.
  • Be the point of contact for offshore suppliers and development requirements offering daily communication regarding development as well as tracking of samples.

You are

  • An experienced Product Developer with extensive technical and construction knowledge
  • Fashion forward, with an eye for trend, fashion and design
  • Strong ability working in Adobe Creative suite, specifically illustrator
  • Extremely high attention to detail with a passion for product
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with all different types of stakeholders including factories and suppliers
  • A solid understanding of the manufacturing process and womenswear
