Description

Lift Supervisor / Operator

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed lifting plans and risk assessments.

• Coordinate all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

• Select appropriate lifting equipment and supervise its use.

• Collaborate with site managers, crane operators, and other relevant personnel.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance and identify potential hazards.

• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on lifting procedures and safety practices.

• Maintain accurate records of lifting operations and equipment maintenance.

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • CPCS – Slinger Signaller
  • CPCS – Crane Supervisor
  • Comprehensive knowledge of lifting equipment, procedures and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to operate plant when required
  • Have additional plant knowledge and experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
