Field Service Representative – LV/MV Solar Technician (Traveling)

Position Overview Aurora is seeking qualified Field Service Representatives to support low and medium voltage electrical work across utility-scale solar sites nationwide. This role involves hands-on field service, supporting installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and general service activities on solar and associated electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field service work on LV and MV electrical systems within solar sites.
  • Support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar equipment and components.
  • Assist with inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues including inverters, combiner boxes, and balance of system components.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and procedures.
  • Complete field reports and required documentation accurately.
  • Follow NFPA 70E, OSHA, and applicable electrical safety standards at all times.
  • Travel to job sites as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with low and/or medium voltage electrical systems.
  • Background in solar, renewable energy, or similar field service work.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for field assignments.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work outdoors, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
