Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Associate to join our retail team in the UK. This role is essential for supporting our human resources functions, ensuring that our workforce is engaged, compliant, and aligned with our organisational goals. The HR Associate will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and assisting with various HR initiatives that contribute to the overall success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in resolving employee queries.
  • Coordinate training and development programmes for staff.
  • Assist in performance management processes and employee evaluations.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an HR role, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
