Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Office Administrator to join our accountancy firm in Central London. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting our team, and enhancing client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the overall efficiency of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling meetings and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial documents and reports.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees and maintain employee records.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an accountancy or financial services environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
