Summary:

The Marketing and Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and impact of our charity organisation in Edinburgh. This position is responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies and communication plans that resonate with our target audience, ultimately driving engagement and support for our mission. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for charitable work and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the voluntary sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to promote the charity’s initiatives and events.
  • Manage social media platforms, creating engaging content that aligns with the organisation’s goals and values.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure coverage and enhance public awareness.
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Organise and participate in community outreach events to promote the charity’s mission and engage with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
