Summary:

As an Ecologist at our consultancy based in Central London, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing ecological projects. Your expertise will contribute to sustainable development and environmental conservation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices. This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that impact local ecosystems and communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ecological assessments and surveys to evaluate habitats and species.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement ecological management plans.
  • Provide expert advice on biodiversity and environmental impact assessments.
  • Monitor and analyse ecological data to inform project decisions.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups, to promote ecological awareness.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in ecological consultancy or a similar role, preferably at an associate level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret ecological data.
