The Duty Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accountancy firm in Central London. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The Duty Manager will act as a key point of contact for clients and staff, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and support staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in accountancy or finance is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial role within the accountancy sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
