Summary:

As a Care Assistant in Blackpool, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients’ health and wellbeing.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to senior staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Uphold the dignity and respect of clients at all times, fostering a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a care role or similar position is preferred.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care, with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a care setting.
