  • Role Overview
  • The SHEQ Lead holds overarching responsibility for the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Company’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) framework across all operational sites and customer locations where services are delivered. The role is responsible for ensuring the organisation operates in full compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and industry requirements whilst maintaining certification to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
  • The position extends beyond internal compliance and includes auditing customer sites, supporting operational delivery teams, monitoring contractor performance and providing assurance that contractual, regulatory and company standards are consistently achieved.   • • Maintain and continually improve the Company’s integrated SHEQ management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • • Act as the Company’s competent person for Health & Safety, providing professional advice and guidance to Directors, Managers and employees in accordance with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
  • • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory and client-specific requirements across company sites and customer locations.
  • • Monitor changes in UK health, safety, environmental and quality legislation and ensure company policies, procedures and management systems remain fully compliant.
  • • Develop, review and maintain all SHEQ policies, procedures, management systems, forms and associated documentation.
