Do you already have kitchen supervisory experience and want a role with no late evenings?

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead our busy Grass Hoppers kitchen within our popular soft play area.

This is a role for someone who can confidently take ownership of a kitchen, lead a team, and maintain high standards every day.

Please Note

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for candidates with previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience who can confidently step into the role from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead from the front: Take day-to-day control of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service and consistently high food quality
  • Drive standards: Maintain excellent food hygiene, allergen awareness, and compliance with all food safety regulations
  • Support and develop the team: Train, guide, and motivate team members to work efficiently and safely
  • Quality control: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the required standard every time
  • Kitchen organisation: Keep the kitchen clean, well-stocked, and running efficiently at all times
  • Manage pressure: Stay calm and organised during busy periods, especially weekends and school holidays
  • Continuous improvement: Identify ways to improve processes, reduce waste, and raise overall standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven kitchen experience in a supervisory or senior role

  • ✔ Confidence in leading a team and working independently
  • ✔ Ability to organise, prioritise, and maintain standards under pressure

Hours & Schedule

  • Term time: 22.75 hours per week
  • School holidays: 26.5 hours per week
  • Includes alternate weekends
  • No late nights — kitchen closes at 3:30pm
