Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our engineering team. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of piping systems within various projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to our commitment to high-quality engineering solutions and play a vital role in our operations and willing to work away from home which may be for long periods at a time.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to piping systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship or vocational training in pipefitting or plumbing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pipefitting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid UK driving licence may be required.
