At Nightwind Treatment Centre, we believe every young person can succeed when given the right support, structure, and relationships. Many of the youth we support have experienced trauma, loss, or instability. Our role is to provide a safe environment where they can heal, develop life skills, and build confidence for the future. The Maintenance Worker ensures a safe living and working environment for all youth and staff at Nightwind Treatment Centre.

What You’ll Do

Maintenance Workers support our residential treatment programs by:

  • Performing outside maintenance including hazard removal, garbage clean up, lawn cutting and care, and garden beds maintenance.
  • Maintaining the exterior of the facilities by cleaning exterior buildings, cleaning eavestroughs, maintaining decking and exterior stairs, and window cleaning.
  • Performing inside maintenance including hazard removal, drywall repair, and painting as needed.
  • Executing basic plumbing repair such as leaking taps, flooring repair, and pest monitoring and response.
  • Ensuring the Risk Management Plan is being followed to effectively respond to risks within the program.

This role involves hands-on facility maintenance across our various group care settings. Program locations include:

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:
