Equipment Operator – Light

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced light Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating light equipment to move, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials using smaller equipment such as skidsteer, packers and power tools.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment to move, rock, gravel, or other materials
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other project specifications
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating light equipment
• Training on equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other project specifications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
