Job Title: Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Location: Bedford, NS

Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations by safely operating a forklift, moving materials, organizing inventory, and assisting with order picking, packing, and shipping duties.

This role requires someone who is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable performing both forklift operation and general warehouse tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and move materials
• Complete pre-shift inspections and routine safety checks on the forklift
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming materials and supplies
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Stack, sort, and maintain organized warehouse inventory
• Move and stage product throughout the warehouse as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and workplace protocols
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification required
• Previous forklift experience in a warehouse, production, or distribution environment required
• Previous warehouse experience considered an asset
• Able to lift, move, and handle materials as required
• Comfortable performing physical warehouse tasks throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• CSA-approved safety boots required
