Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta, on a casual and contractual basis. This role is crucial in providing high-quality behavioural analysis services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The BCBA will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies in accordance with best practices.
  • Provide training and support to staff and families on behavior management techniques.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or educational setting working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in behavior analysis.
