Team RH are seeking a Senior Product Designer who combines user-centred design and systems thinking to deliver designs that make measurable impact. In this role, you will lead end-to-end design for our company-wide admin system; from discovery through to delivery, to create intuitive, scalable, and accessible experiences.
Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will align design outcomes with business OKRs and influence product direction through data-driven decisions. You will also play an active role in growing our design practice by contributing to our processes, systems, and culture of high quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
UX Strategy & Execution

- Lead the design of user journeys, flows, and interaction models that solve real user problems.
- Apply and extend design systems and component libraries, maintaining consistency across products.
- Ensure accessibility and usability standards are embedded in all design outputs.
Senior Product Designer 1
Champion high-quality design through critiques and hands-on execution.
User Research & Discovery
SFIA: URCH5
- Collaborate with researchers to understand study objectives, methods, and findings.
- Interpret research outputs to inform design decisions.
- Advocate for ongoing user validation as a part of every design decision.
Data-Informed Decision-Making
SFIA: DTAN5
- Collaborate with product managers to define key metrics and assess feature success.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation and innovation through continuous monitoring of user behaviour and product performance.
- Build a culture of evidence-based design, ensuring all solutions are measured against user impact and business outcomes.
System Design & Design Patterns

- Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring component scalability and consistency.
- Define and implement design patterns that solve complex problems across journeys and products.
- Partner with engineers to ensure feasibility, handoff clarity, and build quality.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Senior Product Designer 2

- Build strong relationships with product, engineering and data teams.
- Clearly communicate design thinking, user value, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Participate in agile rituals and planning, aligning design milestones with delivery expectations.
Alignment with Business OKRs

- Translate strategic goals and OKRs into product and design decisions.
- Balance user needs with business priorities, while advocating for customer outcomes.
- Support prioritisation through research, data, and design-led insight.
Design QA & Accessibility

- Collaborate with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and adherence to design intent.
- Champion accessibility and embed inclusive design principles from concept through delivery.
- Maintain a feedback loop to continuously improve design quality and accessibility standards across the product suite.
Mentorship & Practice Leadership
SFIA: METL5
- Mentor mid-level and junior designers to strengthen their skills and confidence.
- Influence the design process by sharing methods, tools, and best practices.
- Lead by example in ownership, initiative, and collaborative behaviour.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products in agile environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating depth in UI/UX, systems thinking, accessibility and component driven design.
- Hands-on proficiency with Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira and Confluence.
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies, including a solid understanding of HTML/CSS and how design is implemented within React-based frameworks.
- Applies and interprets user research insights to inform design decisions and ensure user-centred solutions.
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills; ability to articulate trade-offs clearly.
This is a full time, office based role but may consider hybrid working for the right candidate.
