Gas Engineer

Salary: £60,000 and above depending on experience.

Opportunity to earn up to £100,000 through overtime

Overall Responsibilities (Plumbing & Mechanical Engineer)

This role focuses on delivering high-quality plumbing and mechanical services across domestic and commercial properties. You’ll carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a professional standard. You’ll work independently or as part of a team, maintain accurate records, and represent the company professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
  • Carry out first and second fix plumbing works
  • Perform testing and commissioning of systems
  • Complete accurate job records and reports
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow Health & Safety procedures
  • Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota when required
  • Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues

Key Technical Knowledge & Experience (Essential)

  • Gas Safe Registered (Domestic & Commercial)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in domestic and commercial environments
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable (Training can be provided)

  • Unvented Hot Water (G3)
  • LPG & Catering Gas Qualifications
  • WRAS Water Regulations Certificate
  • Knowledge of BMS and relevant safety training
