About the Role
As Salon Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, elevating customer experiences, and inspiring your team. This is a hands-on leadership position: you’ll lead by example, actively working on the salon floor while supporting, coaching, and motivating your team.
You will work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends, and collaborate closely with senior leaders to ensure the salon meets its KPIs and maintains Townhouse’s exceptional standards.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver and oversee flawless treatments and customer experiences.
- Lead a motivated, knowledgeable, and high-performing team.
- Manage rotas, ensuring balance between sales, customer service, and team wellbeing.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Conduct team upskilling and coaching sessions on brand ethos and trading standards.
- Monitor and develop team performance, identifying talent for progression.
- Handle customer in salon enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Oversee daily operations, including stock management, health & safety, and maintenance.
- Implement local salon marketing initiatives and track results.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, licensing, and internal policies.
What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 2 in Nail Services or equivalent.
- Outstanding nail technician skills, with a passion for delivering flawless treatments.
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on,
lead-by-example approach.
- Excellent knowledge of HR procedures and team management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction.
- Understanding of salon health and safety procedures.
- Proficient in salon operations, compliance, and business management.
