To support the continued expansion of our Contracting division, we have made significant investments in high‑quality plant and equipment, alongside the ongoing training and development of our people. This ensures our clients receive exceptional service, supported by premium construction materials from our quarry and asphalt production facilities.

In this role, you will visit sites ahead of works, liaising with clients to understand requirements and agree on the programme of work. A professional manner and proven ability to build strong client relationships are essential.

You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of both machine‑lay and hand‑lay surfacing operations, supported by experience in contracting and highways maintenance.

A strong commitment to Health & Safety is vital. You will be confident in producing risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans, as well as identifying and communicating risks to the site foreperson.

Following project completion, you will carry out reviews, comparing completed works against the original quotation and programme, and providing accurate and constructive feedback. Experience in surveying and measuring is required.

We are looking for a highly organised, results‑driven individual who can work effectively to planned schedules and deadlines. Strong communication and motivational skills are essential, as you will engage with colleagues and clients to achieve the best outcomes. Effective team management and the ability to bring out the best in others are also key.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an SSSTS and a CSCS card. An NVQ Level 3 qualification is desirable.
