About the role

This newly created role in our Global Commercial team will be responsible for supporting customer engagement and revenue generation through proactive outreach and relationship management with existing and prospective customers.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales leadership, sales operations, marketing, and customer experience teams to ensure that IonOpticks customers receive proactive communication, support, and engagement.

The role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, monitoring product usage and inventory requirements, and following up on marketing and conference-generated leads. The role will also play a key role in communicating new IonOpticks product launches, application developments, and scientific publications to the global customer base.

The position will be based in the Oxford office and will primarily support customers across Europe and North America, with occasional travel to support conferences or company meetings.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining regular engagement with existing IonOpticks customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and continued product adoption, including:
  • Supporting the sales organisation by engaging with leads generated through marketing campaigns, conferences, and other commercial activities, including:
  • Acting as a channel for communicating new developments and scientific insights to the customer base
  • Collecting valuable feedback from the customer base to support product improvement and commercial strategy
  • Working closely with the global commercial organisation to support effective sales execution

  • Comfortable engaging with scientific customers in academic, pharma, and CRO environments
