Sales Executive

LOCATION: EDDINGTON, CAMBRIDGE, CB3.

Summary:

The of role of the Sales Executive, reports to the Sales Manager and carries out all aspects of the day to day running of the sales complex, ensuring that outstanding customer service is delivered throughout the customer journey. This includes achieving qualified sales reservations demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and meeting or exceeding sales targets, as well as efficiently progressing reservations through to exchange of contract and legal completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the general presentation of the site and the sales complex is maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensure that all relevant information required to be able to give full and accurate information to purchasers is available and maintained at all times.
  • Guide potential purchasers around show homes, stock plots and site to fully demonstrate the product.
  • Ensure visitors and potential purchasers to site are aware of Durkan Homes Health and Safety policy and they are always accompanied by a Durkan Homes representative.
  • Maintain accurate records using Durkan Homes CRM system.
  • Liaise with purchasers, solicitors, and financial advisors on a regular basis.
  • Attend and minute weekly Sales/Site meetings with your site manager.
  • Ensure the Durkan Homes customer journey and milestones are met are done for all purchasers. 
  • Proactively work with the Sales Manager and colleagues to suggest ideas to achieve increased Sales

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience of delivering sales in a service environment e.g., housebuilding, retail, hospitality
  • Commercially astute with a good understanding of the market and competitors
  • Understands and acts upon customer needs to maintain Company reputation
  • Thrives on challenge, is resilient and driven to achieve personal and Company targets
  • Keeps up to date with new thinking including legislation, economic conditions, and technology

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Communicates and negotiates- capable of influencing others assertively building rapport with customers
  • Encourages and supports people in the team, sharing knowledge and best practise
  • Ability to build relationships across functions, internally and externally
  • Self-starter who works efficiently without direct management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Flexible with working pattern, must be able to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Ability to take the lead and make final decisions in line with the Durkan values
