Role purpose

The Senior Account Manager is a leadership cornerstone of the Deliver pillar, responsible for leading, managing, and controlling complex activities to ensure our global partners are delighted every day. You bridge the gap between strategic brand vision and technical execution, utilising The Aire Way™ to provide intelligent solutions that eliminate “late and wrong”. By driving execution excellence and managing significant commercial targets, you ensure that every project delivers the clarity, consistency, and confidence that defines the Intelligence Revolution.

Key responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for major global accounts, ensuring all outputs are on time, on brief, and on brand
  2. Build and maintain trusted, purposeful relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal production teams
  3. Act as a lead bridge between global brands and technical pillars, translating high-level briefs into actionable project plans
  4. Drive the adoption of SCORE™ and automated workflows to ensure technical precision and process efficiency across the team
  5. Manage commercial targets and annual budgets of £500k+, identifying opportunities for organic growth and business efficiency
  6. Lead pre-production meetings with input from our Print Technical Team to ensure print feasibility and colour management standards
  7. Proactively identify project risks and provide clear, unambiguous solutions to resolve complex bottlenecks
  8. Coordinate across all pillars to ensure a unified global approach to project delivery and brand governance
  9. Provide regular, high-level reporting on project timings and key performance indicators (KPIs) to keep success on track across the business
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying ways to reduce waste and enhance speed-to-market
  11. Mentor and lead junior members of the Client Delight crew, fostering an industrious and “work smart” attitude

Objectives

  1. Delivery Excellence – Lead and deliver high-stakes packaging projects with a focus on technical precision and client delight
  2. Commercial Leadership – Maintain and grow annual account budgets of £500k+, ensuring all work remains profitable and within forecast
  3. Process Advocacy – Ensure 100% of projects follow The Aire Way™ methodology to maximise efficiency and reduce revision cycles
  4. Stakeholder Influence – Successfully coordinate with cross-functional teams and external print vendors to achieve project milestones

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. On Time Delivery (OTD) Target ≥ 95%
  2. External Right First Time (eRFT) Target ≥ 85%
  3. Client Satisfaction Maintain a satisfaction rating of 4.5 or higher following project completion
  4. Briefing Accuracy 100% accuracy on all technical briefs submitted to the Develop and Deliver pillars
  5. Team Development 100% of direct reports to have completed The Aire Way™ A, B, and C level training

Knowledge, experience and qualifications 

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management expertise in a service environment
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Exceptional level of organisation with the ability to lead multiple activities
  • Confidence in leading pre-production meetings with input from our Print Technical Team
  • Clear, confident, and unambiguous communication skills

  • Passionate about packaging with an appreciation for brand and packaging guidelines
  • Thorough understanding of the Design, Develop, and Delivery process

Experience

  • A proven track record of artwork and packaging experience, managing multiple large-scale projects
  • Proven achievement involving packaging execution at a senior level
  • Ability to manage multiple project stakeholders from senior client and printer worlds
  • Commercial management of £500k+ annual budgets
  • Proven ability to lead and manage people effectively

Knowledge

  • Technical understanding of adaptation, packaging, and guideline adherence
  • Production understanding of prepress and printing processes
  • Technical understanding of colour management and print feasibility
  • Automation understanding and its impact on the Design-to-Shelf journey
  • AI knowledge and awareness of the Intelligence Revolution
