Role purpose

This role is key in managing client relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of artwork focussed, ready to print solutions. As an Account Manager, you will support our Account Directors in bridging the gap between clients and our artwork delivery/print technical teams, maintaining project timelines, budgets, and execution excellence all whilst driving and delivering through our unique Aire Way Automation solution.

Key responsibilities

  1. Act as our Aire Global point of contact for your assigned accounts

  2. Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with stakeholders within the client organisation

  3. Understand and align with the client’s challenges and goals, working with the Delivery Team to ensure solutions to packaging briefs

  4. Ensure execution excellence and alignment by consistently updating knowledge and increasing awareness of every area of the process

  5. Drive growth across all regions and areas by identifying upselling, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities

  6. Know and drive financial targets with budget and profitability goals, monitoring on a monthly basis with the support of our Account Directors

  7. Coordinate across all pillars and functions internally to ensure a unified global approach to the The Aire Way™ process

  8. Ensure high-quality delivery of solutions across all touchpoints, from ‘Develop’ to ‘Delivery’.

  9. Anticipate and resolve challenges proactively, with the help and support of your team and our Account Directors

  10. Provide regular top-line updates to both the client and internal teams, with a good grasp of what is relevant and what is not, to ensure alignment and control

Objectives

Defines the tangible outcomes expected from the role.

  1. Deliver packaging projects on time and within scope, via documented project plans, timelines, and budget reports, shared with our internal team and client stakeholders..

  2. Drive reduced number of revision cycles through alignment and requirement gathering, from initial handover to completion.

  3. Identify areas of improvement for streamlining workflows or processes, documented and adopted by the design team.

  4. Prepare materials to support your Account Director with Monthly and Quarterly Account Reviews

  5. Share case studies or success stories built from completed work to support business development and marketing/socials.

  6. Facilitate post-project evaluations with measurable improvement in client satisfaction expectations.

Key Performance Indicators

Quantitative and qualitative metrics aligned with performance reviews.

  1. Ensure a client email acknowledgement response time of 3 hours from receipt

  2. Create and deliver clear and concise Develop and Deliver briefs to the studio, ensuring an accuracy rate of 95%

  3. Manage financial forecasts, with regular updates to the sales flash, resulting in accurate predicted revenue for your account/s, within a 10% buffer (eg. November 1st, £25,000 predicted sales, November 30th invoiced total £26,000)

  4. Drive pillar growth, by seeking opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell, with 1 additional/out of scope project per quarter

  5. Build and strengthen client relationships via face to face engagement, with in person visits to contacts and client counterparts: UK – Bi-Monthly / EU – Quarterly / Global Bi-Annually.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications 

Skills

  • Shows strong and natural client liaison skills

  • Demonstrates business acumen and commercial awareness

  • Has a good level of organisation with the ability to manage, support and control multiple activities

  • Is confident in leading Pre-production Meetings with input from our Print Technical Team

  • Displays clear, confident and unambiguous communication skills

  • Respects confidentiality and integrity

  • Shows the ability to challenge and lead by example

  • Has proven print industry knowledge with experience of working in packaging

  • Is passionate about packaging with an appreciation for brand and packaging guidelines

  • Has a thorough understanding of the Design, Develop and Delivery process

Knowledge

  • Technical understanding of adaptation, packaging and guideline adherence
  • Production understanding of prepress and printing processes
  • Technical understanding of colour management and print feasibility
  • Automation understanding 
  • AI knowledge

Experience

  • A proven track record of artwork/packaging experience, managing multiple projects
  • Proven achievement involving packaging execution
  • Able to manage multiple project stakeholders from client and printer worlds
  • Management of £300k+ annual budgets 

Qualifications
