Streamline reminders for outstanding employee actions
Available to all subscription tiers
You can now quickly trigger reminders for outstanding actions directly from the Certifications, HR Documents, Induction Content, and Policy Reports to prompt everyone and keep your team on track.
Introducing parallel approvers for workflows
Available to all subscription tiers
You can now configure workflows so approvals can happen simultaneously or in an order. This powerful upgrade helps you get actions approved faster by allowing approvers to jump in when it works for them, rather than needing to wait for any previous approvals.
Keep employees in the loop with Benefit (Allowances) assignment notifications
Available to all subscription tiers
Employees will now receive email notifications when an admin assigns or unassigns a Benefit to them. This keeps them instantly informed about changes to benefits, ensuring they’re always in the know.
Discover top talent faster with enhanced hiring tools
Available to all subscription tiers
We’ve enhanced our hiring tools to make candidate discovery even more precise. You can now search for matching candidates by job title and location, helping you pinpoint the perfect fit with greater accuracy.
Plus, we’ve streamlined the “Verify Business” process replacing the stand-alone sign up page with a new, modal form, making essential setup quicker and smoother.
Revamped admin experience for Company Values page
Available to all subscription tiers
We’ve brought all management actions on the Company Values page directly to where admins need them.
Now, admins can create, edit, archive, unarchive, delete, and reorder company values in one centralised location. This means no more navigating to a separate settings page, saving you time and streamlining your workflow. We’ve also updated the card layout for increased visibility of your value titles, making it even simpler to oversee your organisational principles.
Streamlined Work Sites and Position Management
Available to Classic Premium, and EOS Lite, Plus and Premium tiers
Admins can now copy how existing work sites are set up and create multiple positions on one page. This drastically cuts down on manual effort, making setup and ongoing management more efficient.
Employees can now update bank details on-the-go with the EH Work app
Available to all subscription tiers
We’ve made it possible for your employees to amend their bank details directly within the EH Work app, rather than needing to do so in the HR web platform.
Improved tenure accuracy for reactivated employees
Available to all subscription tiers
When employees are reactivated, you can amend their employment start date, and this will automatically flow through to the tenure displayed on their Employee File Card.
Security update: email removed as multi-factor authentication (MFA) option
Applies to Employment Hero Payroll web platform users
To enhance the security of your accounts, email can no longer be used as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method.
Instead, we’ve introduced a mandatory date of birth field for all users.
Please ensure your date of birth is accurate to assist with any future account access needs – you can do that on the My Account page in your Employment Hero Payroll platform.
Updates to Reporting
Available to all subscription tiers
We’ve enhanced the Audit Trail, Headcount, Safety Incident, 1:1 and Tenure Reports for a more consistent and streamlined experience. These updates standardise data, columns, and CSV export options, and ensure that more of the important safety and treatment information is captured for reference later on.
Streamlined rostering emails
Available to all subscription tiers
Say goodbye to multiple shift notifications. Now, when shifts are published for the week, employees will receive just one consolidated email containing all their rostered shifts for that week. This includes any shifts that require acceptance, making it easier than ever to review schedules at a glance.
Faster and more efficient compensation cycle management
Available to Classic Premium and Platinum, and EOS Plus and Unlimited tiers
We’ve improved compensation cycles to reduce manual effort.These improvements include:
- Smarter filtering: Easily filter employees by cost center for precise management.
- Simplified setup: Leverage new pay rate rules for quicker, easier cycle configuration.
- Accelerated approvals: HR admins can now approve recommendations on behalf of others, keeping cycles moving.
- Scale with ease: Bulk issue change letters to implement all approved compensation adjustments at once.
Updates to Benefits Management
We’ve updated Benefits to now include:
- Internal comments for admins (invisible to employees) for better administrative notes
- Compulsory start dates (pre-filled with today’s date) and optional end dates for all benefits, ensuring precise tracking. “One-off” benefits will require an end date
- Admins can assign benefits directly during the onboarding flow, replacing the old, separate process, meaning new hires will see their benefits immediately upon joining.

Introducing the new Admin Termination modal
Available for EOS Lite, Plus and Unlimited
Offboarding just got easier. Our new Admin Termination Modal instantly displays applicable leave policies and both current and final leave balances when an employee is terminated. Get immediate, accurate insights for a smoother, more compliant process every time.
Streamlined leave management & flexible open-ended leave
Available to all subscription tiers
We’ve made two key enhancements to simplify your leave management to provide greater control and flexibility, making your leave processes more efficient than ever:
- Easier OSL Management: Occupational Sick Leave (OSL) requests can now be deleted just like other leave types. This automatically syncs with Payroll, removing the connected leave item for seamless reconciliation.
- Flexible open-ended leave: Admins can now enable open-ended leave for any non-statutory leave type, even if current requests exist. To disable, simply ensure no open-ended requests are active by closing or deleting them first.
Gain insights with the new Return to Work report
We’ve launched a powerful new Return to Work Report, providing crucial insights into your business’s return-to-work form data. Admins can customise the form fields to perfectly match their organisation’s unique needs.
This new feature empowers you with better data and tailored forms for a smoother return-to-work process.
Sync your new Benefits with Payroll
Available to all subscription tiers
Benefits entered in the Payroll platform will now automatically sync to Benefits Management in your HR platform.
This means employees will instantly see their comprehensive benefits reflected within their total compensation and employee benefits pages, providing a complete and up-to-date view of their valuable packages!
