Description

Job Title: Audio Typist

Location: Norwich based head office – Part time and hybrid working considered.

At Watsons Property Group Ltd, we are a leading Chartered Surveying firm working across the UK property market. Established since 1890, we continue to develop and grow our current geographical base and client portfolio.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced audio typist, with proofreading skills and digital audio transcription experience, to join a successful and friendly Quality Assurance team.

Responsibilities:

  • You must have a minimum typing speed of 80 wpm with a proven commitment to a high level of accuracy. This will be tested within the application process.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language with a particular emphasis on spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective listening and concentration skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to work within deadlines.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Phone and team administration cover when required

Requirements

  • Previous audio transcription experience within chartered surveying will be highly regarded, however training will also be provided to the successful candidate.
  • A considerable knowledge of Microsoft Word is required as you will be typing building surveys and completing templates via audio dictation or site notes, as well as proof reading reports and dealing with customer and surveyor enquiries across CRM systems.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and manage a high workload efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
