What You’ll Be Doing
As a Tills & Customer Service Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our customer experience, helping to ensure every visitor receives a warm welcome and outstanding service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering GREAT customer service at all times
- Operating tills and processing cash and card transactions
- Assisting customers with enquiries both in person and over the phone
- Managing customer returns and exchanges
- Welcoming visitors and providing information and guidance
- Handling customer feedback and resolving queries professionally
- Supporting supplier visits and communications
- Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Processing event and Grotto ticket sales
- Making customer announcements when required
- Providing additional till support during busy periods
And most importantly… bringing a smile and positive attitude to work every day!
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
✅ Has excellent customer service skills and enjoys interacting with people
✅ Has a positive, friendly, and approachable attitude
✅ Is confident communicating with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
✅ Can remain calm and professional when resolving customer queries
✅ Works well as part of a team in a busy environment
✅ Has previous retail, till, or cash-handling experience (preferred but not essential)
