🎯 About the Role

This is a varied role supporting both our kitchen and front of house operations. You’ll help deliver excellent customer service while ensuring our play café remains clean, welcoming, and running efficiently.

Your day-to-day could include:

✅ Taking customer orders and operating the tills

✅ Serving ice creams, cakes, hot and cold drinks

✅ Delivering food and drinks to tables

✅ Clearing and cleaning tables and customer areas

✅ Supporting the kitchen team when required

✅ Keeping the café and play areas clean and presentable between play sessions

✅ Helping maintain high standards of food hygiene and customer service

✅ Pitching in wherever needed to support the team and operational priorities

You’ll be a great fit if you:

✔ Have previous experience working in a similar Catering role

✔ Enjoy working in a busy, customer-focused environment, this role is on your feet & fast-paced

✔ Are reliable, organised, and ready to get stuck in

✔ Take pride in keeping areas clean, safe, and welcoming

✔ Are flexible and happy to support different tasks throughout the day

📅 Hours & Contract

• Average weekly hours: 20.25 hours off-peak | 27.6 hours during peak periods (school holidays)
• ✅ Every Saturday off
• ✅ No evening shifts
• ✅ Latest finish time of 4:45pm

Typical shift schedules:

• 8:30am to 2:00pm
• 9:15am to 4:15pm
• 9:30am to 4:45pm
• 11:00am to 2:15pm
• 11:00am to 4:00pm

Working days:

• Off-peak: Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday
• Peak (school holidays): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday

✅ Your shifts will be published in advance on our online rota system, giving you plenty of notice to plan your time around work.
