After School Cleaner Required – Warton, Tamworth, B79 0HP

Monday to Friday – 17.5 hours per week Term Time Only – with a minimum of 2 deep-cleaning shifts during each school holiday 3:00pm – 6:30pm, with the possibility of later finishes when required

We are looking for a reliable, professional and hardworking After School Cleaner to join our team at a school in Warton, Tamworth, B79 0HP.

This is a hands-on, active cleaning role and would suit someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping a site clean, safe and presentable.

The role is ideal if you prefer practical work, like staying active and want a clear start and finish to your working day, with no desk work, no emails and nothing to take home at the end of your shift.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 3:00pm – 6:30pm (could start later if needed)
• 3.5 hours per day
• 17.5 hours per week
• Term time only

School Holiday Cleaning

Although this is a term-time position, there will be a requirement to complete a minimum of 2 cleaning shifts during each school holiday period.

These shifts will primarily involve deep cleaning, helping to ensure the school is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next term.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school
• Completing daily cleaning tasks across designated areas
• Carrying out additional deep-cleaning duties during school holidays
• Using cleaning equipment and machinery where required
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and to the required standard
• Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or site issues to management
• Working safely and in accordance with company procedures

Requirements

• Must be able to reliably travel to Warton, Tamworth, B79 0HP (own transport advantageous)
• Previous cleaning experience is essential
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of COSHH is desirable
• Experience using floor machines is preferred
• At least one reference from a previous employer

Pay & Benefits

• £13.45 per hour
