About the Role:

Seco Support is seeking a motivated, organised, and proactive individual to join our team as a Compliance and Housing Administrator.

This role will provide dedicated administrative support across compliance, housing, and quality assurance processes to ensure services remain safe, effective, organised, and compliant with organisational and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining robust systems, processes, and records to support the effective management of compliance and housing administration across supported living services. This is a process-driven role requiring someone who is able to take direction, work independently within established guidance, and take ownership of their responsibilities.

The role requires someone who is confident communicating professionally, able to engage in healthy and constructive conversations, willing to ask questions and seek clarification where needed, and proactive in identifying areas for improvement within systems and processes.

This role does not involve operational decision-making responsibilities but does require accountability, initiative, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of organisation, accuracy, and compliance.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Compliance Administration

  • Support the organisation in maintaining compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, trackers, and electronic filing systems.
  • Complete audits and compliance checks in line with organisational processes and schedules.
  • Collate and submit audit findings, compliance information, and quality assurance data to management teams for analysis and action planning.
  • Monitor compliance trackers and highlight overdue actions, gaps, or concerns to relevant managers.
  • Manage accident documentation, ensuring records are completed accurately, stored securely, and shared with the relevant individuals in a timely manner.
  • Escalate concerns, missing documentation, or non-compliance issues in line with organisational procedures.
  • Assist with policy and procedure updates, formatting, distribution, and version control.
  • Produce reports relating to compliance, audits, incidents, and quality assurance when required.
  • Maintain effective systems and processes to support organisational compliance.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or opportunities to improve systems and processes and raise these appropriately with management teams.
  • Ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance is maintained at all times.

Housing Administration

  • Support housing-related administration across supported living services.
  • Maintain accurate tenancy and housing records for the people we support.
  • Liaise with landlords, housing providers, contractors, and external professionals where required.
  • Assist with property compliance documentation including health and safety records, maintenance logs, servicing schedules, and certifications.
  • Monitor and track housing documentation including tenancy agreements, utilities, servicing requirements, and property checks.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance requests, and follow-up communication to ensure actions are completed.
  • Support onboarding processes relating to new placements, housing transitions, and property set-ups.
  • Maintain organised and accurate housing documentation in line with organisational processes and compliance requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of effective administrative systems relating to housing and property compliance

Skills Required:

Essential

  • Previous experience within the health and social care sector.
  • Previous experience within a compliance, quality, housing, or administrative role.
  • Experience completing audits and compliance checks.
  • Experience collating, monitoring, and submitting data accurately.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, trackers, and documentation.
  • Ability to follow instructions, organisational guidance, and established processes consistently.
  • Ability to work independently and manage allocated responsibilities effectively.
  • Confidence to ask questions, seek clarification, and communicate professionally.
  • Ability to engage in healthy and constructive conversations with colleagues and professionals.
  • Ability to use initiative appropriately whilst working within established processes and expectations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of compliance processes and regulatory standards within supported living or social care services.
  • Experience supporting housing administration or property compliance.
  • Experience working with audit systems, compliance trackers, or quality assurance processes.
  • Relevant qualification in administration, compliance, housing, or business support.
