­­­­­­­­­­Purpose:

Reporting directly into the Area Manager, this is a key role within the Operations team where your performance ensures the consistent and seamless delivery of both outstanding cleaning and customer service throughout our customers. This position is a customer facing mobile position where you are expected to attend various sites throughout each day, covering for planned and unplanned absence and quite often working across split shifts. 

This role is a hands-on cleaning position as well as occasionally, a supervisory role. As part of your role you will support Team leaders to ensure new starters in the business are set up and trained in their new. 

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of cleaning across multiple sites, ensuring all areas are maintained to a safe, hygienic and presentable standard.

Travel between locations as required, demonstrating reliability, punctuality and effective time management.

Carry out scheduled and ad hoc cleaning tasks in line with company standards and client requirements.

Conduct routine site checks to identify issues, taking prompt action or escalating where necessary.

Support site audits by maintaining audit-ready standards and assisting with audit processes where required.

Provide cover for supervisory or management roles in their absence, ensuring continuity of service and supporting team coordination.

Maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is used correctly and reporting any faults or maintenance issues promptly.

Monitor and replenish cleaning materials and consumables, ensuring stock levels support uninterrupted service delivery.

Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, while representing the company professionally on all client sites.

Person Specification:

• Ability to clean to an extremely high standard 

• A willingness to learn

• Flexibility to meet the ever- changing demands of the business 

• Previous experience of cleaning in commercial premises would be advantageous but is by no means essential as we are more interested in your willing to learn and your attitude 

• Being able to supervise people and find solutions to issues and problems when they arise in a calm and methodical manner 

• Being able to communicate with customers in a way that gives them confidence in us that we care about delivering an outstanding service and that we are committed to resolving any problems they raise with us 

• Having a high level of initiative will help you handle opportunities and problems with minimum need for guidance 

• Able to work to set timescales and deliver what we promise
