Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Farnsfield, East Midlands. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes for our Student Accommodation sector, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK regulations. This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to our organisation’s success while supporting our employees’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Duties:

– Collate monthly payroll data across multiple sites (approx. 450 employees)

– Input and manage payroll data using Sage Payroll across four entities

– Work alongside a newly implemented HR system (Employment Hero)

– Liaise with outsourced payroll providers in Scotland and Ireland to ensure accuracy

– Process payroll payments including salaries, pensions, and HMRC submissions

– Complete and submit year-end returns (P60s, P11Ds, Annual Returns, etc.)

Administrative Duties:

– Administer pension schemes including NEST, People’s Pension, and Zurich

– Ensure compliance with pension regulations and legislation

– Act as a key point of contact for payroll and pension-related queries

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

– Highly organised with strong attention to detail

– Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

– Proactive, confident, and able to communicate across all levels of the business

– Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment

Essential Requirements:

– Ideally a minimum of 4 years’ payroll experience
