About the Role

Based in London, this role sits within Gemba’s Sponsorship team and combines hands‑on project delivery with client‑facing advisory work.

You’ll own defined project workstreams across sponsorship strategy, analysis and (where required) valuation, while supporting senior consultants and directors in delivering commercially robust solutions. Acting as a trusted day‑to‑day contact for clients, you’ll help translate insight and data into clear, evidence‑based recommendations that support smarter sponsorship decisions. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys structured problem‑solving, working with data, and contributing to high‑quality strategic outputs in a fast‑moving consultancy environment.

About You

You’ll bring a mix of strategic thinking, attention to detail and clear communication, with the confidence to contribute meaningfully in client conversations and presentations. We’re looking for someone who has:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in sponsorship, sports marketing, brand marketing & strategy, or a strongly related field  
  • Strong analytical capability, with confidence working with data, benchmarks and commercial models     
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure insights logically     Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Experience delivering client‑ready insights and recommendations·   
  • Experience in an agency or consultancy environment and exposure to sport, entertainment or EME markets desirable ·       
  • Experience in sponsorship valuation, rights analysis or commercial modelling a bonus

Skills

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (commerce, marketing, business, economics or similar)    
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a commercial mindset
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and storytelling
  • High attention to detail and quality control across analysis and outputs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders concurrently
  • Experience in an agency or consultancy environment desirable
  • Exposure to sport, entertainment or cultural sectors within EMEA a plus
  • Experience in sponsorship valuation, rights analysis or commercial modelling advantageous

Success Looks Like

  • Delivering high‑quality sponsorship strategy, analysis and advisory outputs on time and to a high standard      Owning project workstreams with increasing independence and sound judgement
  • Building trust with clients through clarity, rigour and responsiveness       Contributing to integrated solutions alongside Fan Insights, Sponsorship Valuation, and Commercial Marketing teams
  • Supporting pitches, renewals and negotiations through strong analysis and insight·        Playing an active role in strengthening Gemba’s sponsorship intellectual capital and team culture
