Job summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at a children’s home in Central London. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and possess the necessary skills to provide support and care for children in a residential setting.

Responsibilities:

– Providing emotional support and guidance to children in the residential home

– Creating safe and nurturing environments for children under your care

– Implementing care plans as directed by senior staff members

– Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and external agencies

– Monitoring and recording progress of residents’ development

Qualifications:

– Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in social care or similar field

– NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

– Valid DBS check (Disclosure Barring Service)

– Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
