Description

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead Landscape Construction Projects. Working mainly from home but making an impact across the Midlands and the North.

Your Role:

In this pivotal position, you’ll be the financial expert overseeing large-scale Landscaping projects and contracts. Your keen eye for detail and dedication to profitability will be instrumental in the project team’s achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elevate financial performance and commercial excellence.
  • Ensure monthly cost and value reconciliation for perfect harmony.
  • Deliver impressive cost forecast reports to the project team.
  • Shine a light on cost overrun/underspend areas for budget success.
  • Provide weekly cost reports to the Project Manager.
  • Prepare precise monthly valuations, maximizing profitability
  • Expertly manage variations, recording and valuing them.
  • Foster collaboration with subcontractors, handling quotations and deliveries.
  • Agree and process monthly sub-contractor accounts and payment certificates.
  • Ensure smooth document control, both internally and externally.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans in partnership with the Project Manager.
