HV Design Engineer

Long-established Lloyds accredited Independent Connections Provider, with an excellent reputation for the quality of their work and happy staff, require an Electrical Design Engineer with experience of 11kV power distribution / new connection projects.

The role:

• Design of new connections (11kV, HV / high voltage) using CAD packages
• Liaison with DNO or IDNO and end client
• Attend design review meetings
• Ensure adherence to best practices, engineering standards and legislation
• Carry out design reviews

The person:

• Experience as a New Connections Design Engineer / 11kV Design Engineer with an ICP or DNO
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as G81
