H&S Advisor

Full Time, Permanent

Location: Hampshire

Salary: Circa £45,000 PA + Vehicle

Safety is the top priority for this business, and they seek an experienced Health and Safety professional to join their team. You’ll support safety across various sectors, including rail, forestry, environmental, OTP, rail civils, and professional services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce health and safety policies, keeping up with legislation
• Produce legal documents, including Construction Phase Plans and risk assessments
• Visit sites, engage with teams, clarify responsibilities, and address inquiries
• Conduct audits, inspections, and accident investigations
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• NEBOSH General or NCRQ Equivalent Certificate
• CSCS and PTS certifications
• At least TECH IOSH status
• Advocate for safety culture and behaviors
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• ISO standards experience (9001, 14001, 45001)
• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills

• Deep knowledge of health and safety legislation
