General Foreman

I’m working with a Tier 1 Rail Contractor who are on the lookout for General Foreman in the South-West to assist on a portfolio of rail infrastructure, civil engineering and building projects.

The role is open to both freelance and permanent employment:

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of employees and others under their direct control

• Reporting of any unsafe practices
• Developing a continuous improvement culture and the use of best practice
• Ensuring effective leadership, supervision, utilisation and monitoring of Direct and Subcontract Labour Force
• Delivery of works within programme and to budget

Requirements:

• PTS
• SMSTS/SSSTS
• Experience of working as a General Foreman within a Rail environment
