Description

A highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy, home to a dedicated team of exceptional industry experts, requires a Civil Engineer to join their infrastructure engineering division and work on rail projects.

In this exciting role, the Civil Engineer will work on a range of interesting projects, such as bridge design and renewals, AFA schemes and station developments.

Responsibilities:

  • Production of civil and structural engineering designs, calculations, technical reports, specifications and RAMS
  • Take on project management of schemes
  • Provide technical support and engineering advice
  • Establish project budgets, scope and deliverables
  • Take part in site inspections and client meetings

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Civil Design Engineer / Structural Design Engineer, ideally within the rail industry
  • Experience of Eurocodes and Network Rail standards is beneficial
  • Experience using structural analysis software, such as LUSAS, MIDAS, SuperStress, Robot, S-frame 3D, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office
