About the Role

We’re recruiting a Head Chef to join one of the area’s most popular fresh-food cafés/eateries in Ystradgynlais.

 

If you’re an experienced Head Chef looking for a better working environment, This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive kitchen that genuinely values its people. The hours predominantly operate between 8:30am-3pm but they are now looking to expand their into evenings and increase their offering over the festive period.

 

Serving fresh, quality food in a busy daytime environment think Shakshuka, Turkish Eggs, Full English with SourDough Bread, Steak and Eggs, This isn’t your average brunch and fresh food venue! The kitchen regularly caters for up to 100 covers on peak days. Everything is cooked fresh using quality ingredients.

 

The existing kitchen currently serves food to 3 main areas; The Riverside, The Yard and The Stables, as demand continues to grow, the business is expanding its food offering by introducing a new grab-and-go range of freshly prepared meals and light bites. Customers will be able to enjoy food in “The Yard” thus helping to improve the overall guest experience while easing pressure on the main kitchen during the busiest periods. This exciting development creates fantastic opportunities for chefs to contribute ideas and be part of the venue’s continued growth.The chef is encouraged to create new meals and food offerings, especially as the business is ever changing with demand
