As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Harlow, Essex.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project costs from tender through to final account
Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
Carry out valuations, variations, and cost reporting
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Support the estimating and pre-construction teams where required
Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within construction or fire protection
Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration
Experience working on social housing, refurbishment, or compliance projects (desirable)
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
Proficiency in JCT/NEC contracts
A valid UK Driving Licence
