✨Join Us at The Centre for ADHD Research and Excellence: Shaping the Future of Accessible Healthcare✨
Care ADHD is building a new category in neurodevelopmental healthcare. We are not simply a clinic. We are a scaling healthtech organisation redesigning how neurodevelopmental services are delivered, experienced and trusted. What started as an adult ADHD service is rapidly evolving into a broader ecosystem that combines clinically rigorous care with digital infrastructure, AI enabled tools and operational scale. We already deliver care at significant volume across the UK. Now we are entering the next phase.
We are:
• Expanding beyond a single service line into a wider neurodevelopmental and primary care ecosystem
• Building products including a patient portal and AI enabled tools that reshape the care journey• Scaling clinic capacity nationally
• Exploring service expansion such as Duty Doctor and ………• Assessing international growth opportunities beyond the UK
• Embedding stronger governance and operational maturity to support scale.
Our ambition is structural transformation. We intend to build a platform that can deliver safe, high quality, digitally enabled care at national and international scale.
💫What we are looking for?
We’re looking for a Head of PMO who can bring clarity, structure and calm coordination to a fast-scaling healthtech organisation. This is a senior operator who is comfortable sitting at the centre of complexity, translating ambition into sequenced, deliverable programmes across product, technology, clinical operations and governance. You will combine strong portfolio leadership with sound judgement in regulated environments, ensuring that major initiatives land safely, operationally ready and in the right order. The right person is structured without being bureaucratic, commercially aware, and confident working with senior leadership to balance pace with risk. You know how to create real delivery confidence across an organisation that is growing quickly, and you’re comfortable challenging priorities when sequencing or capacity requires it.
Why this role exists?
As we scale, complexity increases.
🧭 Product defines direction and prioritisation.
🛠️ Technology builds and operates the systems.
📋 Governance safeguards clinical safety and regulatory compliance.
🎼 PMO orchestrates delivery across the organisation.
Without coordination, initiatives collide. Dependencies get missed. Operational readiness is assumed rather than proven.
This role ensures structured, transparent and well sequenced delivery that supports patient safety, operational stability and ambitious growth.
😎What You’ll Be Doing:
-
Maintain a live portfolio view across Product, Technology, Clinical Operations, Governance and international growth.
- Track dependencies and sequencing across teams.
- Ensure operational readiness before major launches.
- Prevent initiative collisions and protect platform stability.
- Provide transparent executive reporting on delivery confidence, risk and timelines.
And yes, you will occasionally manage the CEO’s enthusiasm 😄
What this role is not
- This is not a traditional PMO focused on producing reports no one reads.
- It is not about slowing teams down with unnecessary gates.
- It is not about controlling Product or second guessing strategy.
- It is not about hiding behind process when delivery gets uncomfortable.
🚀To thrive in this role you’ll need:
-
Significant programme or portfolio leadership experience in healthcare or healthtech
- Confidence operating in regulated environments
Experience coordinating multi workstream initiatives across functions
- Strong commercial awareness
- Calm, structured and credible, reporting to Exec
- Comfortable saying not yet, or only if we stop something else
You understand pace. You understand risk. And you know the difference between real control and control theatre.
What success looks like
You will know it is working when things feel calmer, even though we are moving faster.
-
Fewer surprise collisions between teams
- Clear sequencing of major programmes
- High delivery confidence across Exec
- Operational stability during scale
- International launches that feel intentional, not improvised
- Strong partnership with Head of Product and CTO
Your first 12 months
-
Within 3 months you will have created a clear single source of truth portfolio view.
- Within 6 months Exec will have stronger delivery confidence and clearer sequencing.
- Within 12 months launches will feel structured, calm and well coordinated.
