We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Administrator to join our team on a 12 Month FTC.
Role Overview:
To support the organisation in meeting all statutory, regulatory, and contractual compliance obligations across social housing stock. The Compliance Administrator will maintain accurate records, monitor compliance performance, coordinate inspections and certifications, and provide administrative support to ensure resident safety and regulatory assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date compliance records for statutory areas including:
- Gas Safety
- Electrical Safety (EICR)
- Fire Safety
- Asbestos
- Water Hygiene (Legionella)
- Lifts and other safety systems
- Ensure certificates, inspections, and remedial works are recorded accurately and within required timescales
- Monitor compliance dashboards and trackers, highlighting overdue or at-risk properties
- Update housing management and compliance systems with inspection outcomes and documentation
- Produce regular compliance reports for managers, auditors, and regulators
- Support preparation for internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections
- Ensure data accuracy in line with the Regulator of Social Housing and organisational standards
- Liaise with contractors to schedule inspections, access appointments, and follow-up works
- Track contractor performance and documentation submissions
- Work closely with housing officers, asset teams, and customer services to resolve access or compliance issues
- Contact residents to arrange statutory safety checks and inspections
- Handle resident queries related to compliance works in a professional and empathetic manner
- Ensure communications are clear, timely, and compliant with organisational policies
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in line with data protection requirements
- Support compliance policies, procedures, and process improvements
- Carry out any other reasonable duties to support the compliance function
You Will Need:
- Previous administrative or office experience
- Previous experience working with policies, procedures, or regulatory documents
- Data entry, record-keeping, or audit support
- Good attention to detail
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to follow procedures precisely
