ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Cardo Group are currently recruiting for a Business Admin Apprentice to join our team based in the Borehamwood area.
The Apprentice Business Administrator role provides essential support to the business by handling a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role involves general office support, data management, and contributing to the efficient functioning of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering phones, managing emails, filing, photocopying, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Entering data into computer systems, updating databases, and creating spreadsheets.
- Interacting with clients and colleagues, both in person, online and over the phone, and preparing correspondence.
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing follow-up actions.
- Creating and maintaining files, both physical and digital, and archiving documents.
- Assisting with processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Helping with the planning and execution of company events.
- Addressing queries and resolving issues for colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Contributing to the improvement of administrative processes and systems.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 GCSEs (A-C or 4-9) including English and Maths
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation.
- Providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Identifying issues and developing solutions.
- Being flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities and tasks.
