Description

We are seeking a people-focused Showroom Lead to bring our pillars of People, Product, Customer, and Community to life at our showroom within the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. In this full-time role, you will lead a passionate team, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture where every team member is supported to grow and excel.  You will oversee showroom presentation, design consultations and merchandising, while building strong, meaningful relationships with clients. Balancing leadership, collaboration, and operational excellence, you will help shape our showroom to reflect ABI Interiors’ values, showcase our products, and engages authentcally with customers and the wider design community. 

What you will be doing:

•       Oversee the daily operations of the Design Centre showroom, ensuring it is welcoming, organised, and presentation-ready at all times.   

•       Lead a small showroom with one additional team member, supporting them in delivering a confident and professional client experience.   

•       Host and support design consultations, product demonstrations and walk-in enquiries. 

•       Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and product displays in line with the brand standards. 

•       Ensure every visitor receives a warm, knowledgeable and memorable experience. 

•       Assist with events and community engagement within the Design Centre network. 

•       Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, systems, equipment, lighting, and technology. 

•       Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and external service providers to ensure a smooth showroom functionality. 

• Act as a point of escalation for complex client matters, ensuring calm, professional resolution. 

•       Support recruitment, rota planning and simple reporting requirements. 

•       Promote ABI Interiors’ mission, vision, and values through an inclusive and empowering team culture. 

About You:

•       You enjoy being on the showroom floor, engaging with clients and creating a positive atmosphere.  

• Passionate about creating memorable client experiences and long-term relationships.

•       Highly organised and operationally savvy, with the ability to manage day-to-day showroom functions seamlessly. 

•       Detail-oriented and design-conscious, with a strong eye for visual merchandising and presentaBon. 

•       You have experience leading or supervising a team, even within a small team.  

•       Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to fostering an inclusive and values-driven culture. 

•       Confident problem-solver who can handle complex client matters with calm professionalism. 

Experience

•       Experience in a retail, showroom, interiors, lifestyle, or hospitality environment.  

•       Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred.  

•       Strong customer service background.  

•       Strong operational and organisational skills, with experience managing visual merchandising, daily showroom functions, and administrative processes. 

•       Passion for design, product excellence, and building a values-driven, collaborative culture.
