Description

We’re currently looking for a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Pease Pottage. We’re currently looking for a zero hours contract Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Pease Pottage, Crawley to deliver Our products to customers in London and the Southeast.

This position requires availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the potential for increased hours as operational demands grow.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Support ABI’s mission, vision, and values while promoting an inclusive workplace.
  • Safely operate the company van (3.5t Electric Van) to deliver orders, following our route planning software, ensuring timely deliveries, and recording proof of delivery through the system, with all documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct basic vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Perform warehouse duties including receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory control, and returns processing.
  • Unload deliveries, organise stock, and maintain accurate inventory records in line with procedures and safety guidelines
  • Assist with stocktake.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
  • Support the wider Warehouse Team and assist with additional tasks, special projects, and administrative duties as required.
  • Support ABI’s mission, vision, and values while promoting an inclusive workplace.
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe warehouse.
  • Support the wider Warehouse Team and take on extra tasks as needed.
  • Handle special projects and admin duties as required.

About You:

  • Experience in a delivery role, warehouse or logistics. Current Full UK driver’s licence with a maximum of 3 Points (essential). Articulated Forklift Licence (not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good time-management skill
